The Cocoon

The Cocoon is an immersive textile installation that invites visitors to step inside, lay back, and slow down. With soft lighting and cozy floors, it becomes a peaceful space to rest, reconnect, and experience the world from a different perspective.

The installation is entirely handmade using fabric that has been cut into yarn and crocheted piece by piece. Each crocheted section is then connected to form the suspended web, creating a lightweight structure that feels both protective and playful.

Since its debut, The Cocoon has been installed at three festivals across Northern California, where it has become a welcoming gathering place for rest, conversation, reflection, and wonder.
